Sixth Radio Ratings: Kyle and Jackie O make gains

Kiis 106.5 has made the biggest gains in the Sydney radio market, but Macquarie Media’s 2GB remains on top in the sixth radio ratings.

The survey for the period July 14 to September 21 covers the Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth market (see charts below).

For total share of listeners, ARN’s Kiss 106.5 increased its share by 0.9% to come in second. 2GB retained its 13.4% listenership in Sydney. Meanwhile, Macquarie Media’s 3AW in Melbourne lost 1.3% of its listeners, falling from 15.2% to 13.9%.

2Day FM’s breakfast show, which recently switched to a music-focused program, made a gain of 0.1%, capturing 2.5% of the audience, coming in 11th place.
