SBS has revealed the full list of broadcast partners for this year's FIFA Women's world cup.

Visa, Hyundai, Optus, Nike, Officeworks and TAB have all signed on as broadcast partners for this year's international football competition.

With the competition set to get underway in just over two weeks, kicking off 8 June, brands have thrown their support behind Australia's national team, the Matildas.

Much like last year's 2018 Men's World Cup, SBS will share broadcast rights with Optus Sport. SBS will broadcast all Matildas’ matches live on SBS and SBS On Demand, as well as the opening match, all quarter finals, semi finals and the final.

Optus Sport, which last year had major technical issues with its broadcast, will once again show every match as part of a paid package.

“Football continues to grow in popularity among Australian audiences who look forward to cheering on the Matilda’s in next month’s FIFA Women’s World Cup. SBS has a proud football legacy and we are excited to bring world-class coverage of the tournament to all Australians," SBS director of media sales Adam Sadler says.

“We have seen strong support from corporate Australia as brands like Visa, Hyundai, Optus, Nike, Officeworks and TAB recognise the power of sport, and the incredible talent of our female athletes, in uniting diverse audiences around the country to get behind their favourite teams.”

All 52 matches of the tournament will be live and free on the SBS Radio app, with match commentary aired in up to three languages simultaneously; English and in languages of the competing teams.
