It’s hard to keep track of the account wins and losses across the industry. To help you keep on top of who has what, here’s a wrap of the pitches from the week.

Federal Government
Creative agency BMF has been appointed by the federal government to create a major advertising campaign to encourage people aged under 40 to get vaccinated against COVID-19. It will run across social media, traditional media and inside shopping centres. While the campaign is yet to be finalised, Australians can expect it to include celebrities, jokes and songs to "emotionally entice" those under 40 to get the vaccine. The new campaign is due to launch in July.

YMCA
Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has been appointed as creative agency of record for the YMCA Victoria, following a competitive pitch process earlier in the year. The Y owns and runs a vast array of services in support of young people across settings including camps, community recreation and sporting facilities, swimming pools, childcare and early education, out of school hours care, youth services and youth justice facilities.

Philips
Independent media agency Nunn Media has been appointed to handle media duties for Philips’ innovative range of water solution products following a competitive pitch. Nunn Media Sydney will manage media strategy, planning and buying for Philip’s entire water solutions portfolio as it seeks to grow brand awareness and take on challenger brands.

Maurie & Eve
Australian fashion label Maurie & Eve has appointed The Wired Agency as its exclusive full-service digital marketing partner, following a competitive pitch. With a focus on ecommerce, the business reviewed its digital marketing requirements and engaged Wired to drive awareness and growth of the brand online. Wired’s scope for the first phase will include all digital advertising across search, shopping, display, and social along with community management. Wired is also looking at CX and engaging their owned research platform called Wiretapping to build out and inform their go-to-market strategy in a couple months’ time.

State Trustees and Wilson Parking
Conversational agency VERSA has successfully delivered pilot customer service projects for new clients State Trustees and Wilson Parking Australia after being appointed conversational AI agency by both companies. Following completion of a project for State Trustees Personal Finance administration team, the agency has now embarked on a pilot for Trustee Services customers. After finishing an initial automation project for Wilson Parking’s IVR system, VERSA is now managing delivery of subsequent IVR updates.
