Pitch Wrap: Clarins, Greencross, Hipages, Face Mediskin

It’s hard to keep track of the account wins and losses across the industry. To help you keep on top of who has what, here’s a wrap of the pitches from the week.

Clarins
Publicis Groupe media agency Spark Foundry has been appointed by Clarins in Australia to manage its media strategy, planning and buying, following a competitive pitch. The luxury beauty company’s strength has traditionally been in anti-ageing products, with a strong focus on sustainable development and responsible beauty. It will start work on the account in January out of the agency’s Sydney office.

Greencross
OMD has been appointed media agency to Greencross following a competitive pitch process. Greencross is the parent company to Greencross Vets and Petbarn, which together with the largest network of vet speciality clinics and hospitals are the market leaders in integrated pet care including pet food, products, services, preventative health plans, vet and emergency care. OMD Sydney will be responsible for all media strategy, planning and buying for Greencross.

Hipages
Online tradie platform hipages has appointed Avenue C as its media agency partner. The recently ASX-listed hipages has over the past 16 years helped consumers connect with local tradies through its online platform. Avenue C joins creative agency VCCP, PR partner DEC PR , and content production team Visual Domain, to bolster hipages’ integrated brand communications strategy.

Face Mediskin
Sydney independent full-service agency This is Flow has been appointed to handle the digital strategy, planning and buying for beauty retailers Face Mediskin. This is Flow has also picked up five new clients, sitting within the health, fitness and nutrition space, off the back of its Digital Incubator platform. These include King Bodies, Jordan Hartley Health, Coach Mark Carroll, Tamara Mayer Fitness and Hustle Inc Fitness.

IOOF
Independent media agency Nunn Media Sydney has been appointed to the media account for wealth management business IOOF, AdNews can reveal. Nunn Media's Sydney office has been appointed to handle all media planning and buying for the wealth management business. AdNews understands there was no pitch involved.

MyAdbox
Australian martech startup MyAdbox has appointed the combined team of VCCP and SomeOne following a competitive pitch of branding agencies. "The blend of strategic proficiency, branding and communications expertise was the decisive factor in the appointment,” said Rene Slota, MyAdbox CMO.

Airspeeder
Airspeeder, the world’s first flying car racing series described as the ‘Formula One of the skies’, has appointed Sydney design and innovation studio North to create its new immersive digital experience platform. Independent digital transformation specialist North has been appointed to develop the digital brand identity and an immersive digital platform that focuses on bringing the sport to life for fans, investors, sponsors and commercial partners.

Summit Homes Group
Summit Homes Group has appointed independent agency Match & Wood as it’s media agency of record following a competitive pitch. The account, which went to tender in September, consists of Summit Homes, Summit Renovations, Summit Developments, New Generation Homes and Easystart Homes. Match & Wood will be responsible for the full suite of media strategy, planning and buying services.
