Ogilvy Sydney named Agency of the Year at APAC Effies

Ogilvy Sydney has been named Agency of the Year at APAC Effies.

David Fox, the CEO, says he's overjoyed.

"It’s an accolade that shows we not only know how to look after each other to stay inspired and focussed, but also demonstrates that we never lose sight of looking after our clients, their brands, and ensuring sure that every piece of work counts," he told AdNews.

"I couldn’t be prouder.”

He says effectiveness is the sweet spot between art and commerce; the point that generates great ideas that also lead to great results.

"And during a year where we’ve all faced a multitude of challenges, it would have been easy to get distracted and lose sight of that," he says.

"But instead, what the Ogilvy team recognised was that making brands matter has never been more important - and our teamwork shined through."
