One of the NSW government’s TikTok ads promoting new affirmative consent laws has been removed just two days after the campaign went live.

A father contacted the 2GB Ben Fordham Live show, saying that the personal TikTok account of the ad’s male actor showed multiple videos approaching young women in public.

The father wrote: “Take one look at his social media - this bloke is promoting some extremely questionable content that flies in the face of respect for women.

“The ads should be pulled off air and all material featuring this hypocrite should never see the light of day again.”

Ben Fordham said: “The dad was only made aware of the situation when his daughter saw the TV commercial and she was triggered by it because of an interaction she had had with this guy."

The actor's TikTok account, with more than 8500 followers, shows videos of a man resembling the actor talking to young girls about topics including sexual positions, threesomes, sexual history and asks women if they're a “freak”.

Fordham said it’s clear some of the young women are “affected by alcohol”.

NSW Attorney-general Mark Speakman: "After being alerted by (2GB radio presenter) Ben Fordham to the offensive TikTok posts last night, made after filming of our Make No Doubt campaign, I immediately requested that the department of communities and Justice remove the video and related images."
