Nine is suspending a number of print sections to deal with the impact the coronavirus pandemic is having on its advertising revenue.

Non-weekly magazines such as Boss, Sophisticated Traveller, Luxury, Good Food Magazine and Executive Style will be paused, with some content to be used across other magazines and newspapers at Nine.

The Traveller liftout, Domain magazines and The Shortlist event guide are also impacted.

Nine says impacted staff will be redeployed across its business.

“Like most businesses, Nine is examining its business in light of the COVID-19 outbreak and its impact upon the advertising market and is taking a number of steps including the suspension of certain print sections,” a Nine spokesperson says.

“These temporary measures will be continually reviewed and the sections will be reinstated as conditions improve.

"Impacted staff will be redeployed as appropriate.”
