Nicole Florio has replaced Sarah Tucker, who went to LinkedIn, as head of marketing and communications at Foxtel Media

She was formerly head of marketing at Fairfax Events, and most recently has been working in the US as executive vice president, marketing, for active lifestyle, sports and entertainment company Motiv Group.

She will set and execute the brand and marketing strategy at Foxtel Media nationally, including media budget allocation. Her role also involves strategic counsel and developing content and events.

"I am thrilled to be back home in Australia and be working for one of the country’s most engaging and innovative media brands, Foxtel Media," she says.

"The opportunity to work within this organisation in a period of incredible innovation is very exciting. I look forward to mentoring and leading a team of talented and dynamic marketing and communications professionals, as well as working with our partner agencies."

Foxtel Media CEO Mark Frain: "Nicole has been instrumental in developing cutting edge marketing and commercial strategies for some of the world’s largest events, and we’re excited to have her bring her skills and experience to Foxtel Media. Nicole already has strong relationships with key industry partners. These will be vital as she leads the trade marketing strategy for Foxtel Media and our channel stakeholders across all our owned, earned and paid channels."
