LinkedIn appoints Sarah Tucker to APAC head of marketing role

LinkedIn has today announced the appointment of Sarah Tucker to a new APAC head of marketing role for its Enterprise Marketing Solutions division.

Tucker, currently head of marketing and communications at Foxtel Media (previously MCN), will join the business in January 2020 and report to Danielle Uskovic, APAC marketing director for LinkedIn Sales and Marketing Solutions. Uskovic was appointed to the role in May 2018.

Tucker brings with her over ten years experience developing successful marketing and communication strategies for Australian entrepreneurs, start-ups and media businesses, with her experience spanning across both the UK and Australia.

Responsible for leading the marketing function for Foxtel’s advertising sales business, Tucker has steered the organisation through major change, including its most recent rebrand to Foxtel Media to better align with its parent company.

In June this year Tucker also led an initiative to renovate one of Sydney’s most historic venues, the Academy Twin theatre, into an interactive marketing hub: Foxtel on Oxford, to disrupt how the media industry approached upfronts and engage agency and advertising partners.

She was also named one of AdNews’ Emerging Leaders of the Year for 2019 and has supported the production and delivery of the TEDxSydney ideas festival over the last seven years.

In her new role, Tucker will lead the Enterprise Marketing team for LinkedIn Marketing Solutions across APAC.

She will work with the Enterprise Sales Leadership teams across the APAC region to build and implement marketing initiatives that are focused on driving customer value.

Foxtel Media CEO, Mark Frain, thanked Tucker for her commitment to the business and wished her all the best on her next chapter.
