Ten to trade on Landmark next month

Ten Network will begin programmatic trading on Multi Channel Network's Landmark platform from May, Ten CEO Paul Anderson says. During Ten's half-yearly results announcement today, Anderson says programmatic trading will help Ten reduce duplication, drive efficiencies and improve integrations. Foxtel, which also works with MCN, already trades on Landmark.

Ninemsn partners with Flight Centre for travel site

Ninemsn has launched its fifth lifestyle site in a year - a travel website called Elsewhere. The site provides travel guide content to cities around the world. Flight Centre is partnering Ninemsn and will promote travel deals and power travel search and booking functionality. Elsewhere launches with coverage of 55 cities from journalists, bloggers and photographers who live there.

Media Thursdays is on tonight

April Media Thursday's event is on tonight at the Burdekin Rooms. With the Stolen Rum and Sydney Brewery on as sponsors, Mr. Crackles Pop up and DJ's its set to be a night not to be missed.

Outbrain promotes Sigrid Kirk

Newly promoted managing director of Outbrain Asia Pacific, Ayal Steiner, has appointed Sigrid Kirk to a new role as vice president of Outbrain’s Engage product across Asia Pacific. Steiner was appointed to his new role at the end of March, while Outbrain’s former regional director for Southeast Asia, India & New Markets, Ant Hearne, was promoted to a new role as vice president of global sales marketing.

Nine chief Hugh Marks calls for review of Beirut story

Nine boss Hugh Marks has called a full review of the 60 Minutes case headed by former executive producer Gerald Stone, and said the network “shouldn’t have” become part of mother Sally Faulkner’s story, reports The Australian.

Fairfax reduces initial job cuts number

Last month Fairfax announced plans to cut 120 jobs across its editorial departments in Sydney and Melbourne. Now, the publisher has been able to save 20 full-time jobs, reducing the proposal to axe 120 jobs down to 100.

Goa appoints new media sales manager

Goa has appointed Lauren Everist as group media sales manager, researcher, analyst and strategist. Everist have more than 11 years of experience and has worked across top media suppliers including Seven Affiliate Sales, WIN NBN and News Corp.

Visual Domain donating video to charity

Video companies Visual Domain is giving away a free video to charity, in hopes of giving a helping hand to those who need it most.

Managing director Daniel Goldstein and CEO Renece Brewster said video is a fantastic way for charities to communicate the good work they do and show the faces and people behind the cause.
