Nandos marketer wings it to Red Rooster

Quick Service Restaurant Holdings (QSRH) – parent company of Oporto, Red Rooster and Chicken Treat – has appointed former Nandos marketer Kim Russell as its new chief customer officer.

In her new role Russell will be responsible for customer engagement, marketing, digital , PR and corporate communications across all of the QSRH brands.

Russell most recently held a senior marketing position at Westpac and before that spent four years as marketing director for Nando's Australasia, where she launched the brand's loyalty program 'Peri-Perks.'

QSRH CEO Rob Coombe said: “Kim is a highly regarded marketing professional with a track record of driving solid business results, sales growth, strong leadership and innovation.

“Kim's role and appointment signifies an exiting shift in our business.”

In addition, QSRH has appointed Tricia Southwell as director of media and innovation, responsible for the development and execution of all menu innovation across all brands.

Southwell established the first menu innovation team at McDonald's Australia and also has in-depth expertise in franchising.

“QSRH and our franchisees are filled with anticipation and excitement around the growth expected from these two roles,” Coombe said.
