Google MD Jason Pellegrino appointed Domain CEO

Long-serving Google exec Jason Pellegrino is set to leave the multinational for a MD and CEO spot at real estate business Domain. Pellegrino has been MD Australia and New Zealand at Google since May 2016 and a member of the Asia-Pacific regional leadership team. He has been at Google for a decade. Pellegrino will begin his new role on 27 August. Having been at Google since 2008, Pellegrino has held a range of leadership positions including MD of Asia-Pacific sales operations and strategy; sales director, Australia; and head of sales and operations and strategy for Google’s Australia and New Zealand business.

M&C Saatchi Group promotes Rachael Fraser to head of strategy

M&C Saatchi has promoted Rachael Fraser to head of strategy following her recent return from maternity leave. She has been with M&C Saatchi since 2015 and in that time has led strategy for clients including Optus, AIME and Commonwealth Bank.  Prior to joining the agency, Fraser worked for 72andSunny Amsterdam, Droga5 and DDB where she led the thinking across some of the world’s biggest brand portfolios including Unilever, Diageo, Tourism Australia, Volkswagen and Mondelez.

Georgie Nichols appointed Seven's Sydney sales director

Seven West Media has appointed Georgie Nichols as Seven’s Sydney Sales Director. Nichols joins Seven from Dentsu Aegis Network where she has been working as a management consultant since 2017. Prior to joining Dentsu Aegis, Nichols was GM Sydney of Carat Australia. She has also worked for several top Sydney agencies including Clemenger, George Patterson Bates and OMD, primarily in business development, marketing and management roles, and has held a number of executive leadership roles at Telstra. Seven West Media chief revenue officer Kurt Burnette said: “For many years I have been impressed by Georgie’s ability to consistently create strong partnerships, establish and grow teams as well being able to recognise, create and action meaningful ideas that work."

UnLtd appoints Sev Celik as head of fundraising

UnLtd, the media, marketing and creative industry’s social purpose organisation has appointed Sev Celik, previously sales director for eBay Australia at Triad Retail Media, to the role of head of fundraising. Celik has previously worked as the commercial director of NewsLifeMedia and in various senior roles at Fairfax Media including director of its integrated sales division, director of magazines and head of agency sales. UtLtd appointed Celik because of her years of experience as a strategic leader, as well as her extensive commercial experience from both media owner and agency side.

Expert360 appoints VP of marketing

Expert360, an APAC freelance management solution platform, has today appointed Hamish Grant to the position of Vice President of Marketing. Grant brings over 12 years of global experience to the Expert360 team, having worked across a range of traditional and digital marketing leadership roles. Formerly the VP of marketing at Neopost Shipping, Grant supported the technology company through a period of corporate transformation and strategic growth opportunities. Prior to Neopost Shipping’s acquisition of Temando he played a role in growing the business to 794% YOY.
