Metcash reappoints Starcom

SYDNEY: Metcash Trading Ltd has reappointed Starcom as its media agency following a competitive review. 
Starcom will continue to take responsibility for all communication planning and buying for the company, whose brands include IGA, SIGA, Cellarbrations, the Bottle-O and Campbells Wholesale. 
"Starcom has delivered tremendous value to our business since its initial appointment, delivering on all of its commitments to our business," said Metcash general manager commercial, merchandise and procurement Anthony Abdallah . "We are really pleased that we are extending our partnership with Starcom and are confident the agency will continue to add value to our business."
The Metcash-owned IGA pitched its $20 million creative account in October last year, reappointing CHE Melbourne. 

SYDNEY: Metcash Trading has reappointed Starcom MediaVest as its media agency following a competitive review against undisclosed agencies.

Starcom will continue to hold responsibility for all communications planning and buying for the company, whose brands include IGA, SIGA, Cellarbrations, the Bottle-O and Campbells Wholesale.

As revealed by AdNews, Metcash-owned IGA pitched its $20 million creative account in October last year, reappointing CHE Melbourne. 

Metcash had a main media spend of $18.0 million in the 12 months to January, down on $16.3 million in the previous corresponding period, according to Nielsen.
