In a media pitch worth nearly $20 million, the finish line for the Mercedes-Benz Australia/Daimler account is in sight – with just two media agencies in the running.

AdNews understands that MEC has been knocked out, with incumbent Omnicom's Foundation still in alongside a Publicis/VivaKi offering – which could be Match Media, Starcom or ZenithOptimedia.

According to Nielsen, the account is worth $17.9 million.

In other pitch news, ZO won Singapore Airlines in a global pitch. ZenithOptimedia's CEO Ian Perrin said the win is "fantastic” for the business. He also said it was its programmatic offerings which helped seal the deal.
