A panel of agency heads and senior marketers from brands including DrinkWise and Mars Petcare will be leading a talk on the future of marketing at next week's Pause Fest.

The panel discussion 'How is Creativity Driving Innovation in Australia and New Zealand' will look at the application of technology and its impact on creativity in our region.

It will be moderated by Colenso BBDO head of innovation and digital Gavin Becker along with marketers including Visit Victoria digital marketing manager Michael Hauser and Mars New Zealand marketing manager, Petcare Debbie Laing.

In addition, DrinkWise CEO John Scott and Transport Accident Commission senior manager, road safety Sam Cockfield will take part in the panel.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne CEO Nick Garrett says the panel will unpack where the industry is going next and how they are harnessing creativity to power innovation.

“The explosion of new tools and technologies is giving us unprecedented ability to take creativity from abstract ideas to scalable, purpose-built utility,” Garrett says.

“More than that, we’re just beginning to realise the potential for creativity to impact and reinvent practically every aspect of brand and business - opening up new products, services and experiences along the way. This is going to be an exciting conversation.”

Pause Fest is a tech, creativity and business festival for the Asia Pacific region. It takes place in Melbourne from 8-14 February.

The panel discussion 'How is Creativity Driving Innovation in Australia and New Zealand' will take place at 12pm on Friday 12 February at Deakin Edge, Federation Square.
