M&C Saatchi acquires fashion PR Park Avenue

M&C Saatchi Group has acquired luxury fashion public relations agency Park Avenue Agency to further boost its offering in the retail space.

Park Avenue will sit alongside M&C's Bang PR team to offer strategic services across fashion, lifestyle, major events and entertainment.

It marks a key step in the group's move to tap into the lucrative influencer space, an area of expetise for the fashion PR firm.

M&C Saatchi CEO Jaimes Leggett said this most recent acquisition will build on the agency's offering in the shopper space, following the recent appointment of Howard Spreadbury as head of retail – a newly created role.

“We're excited to develop the M&C Saatchi public relations offering and believe the combined efforts of Bang PR and Park Avenue provide something unique to the market,” he said.

The combined offering of Park Avenue and Bang PR has already generated a new client with with fashion brand Havaianas joining as a new client.
