Leo Burnett's Peter Bosilkovski and ARN's Ciaran Davis and Anthony Xydis have all been recognised at The CEO Magazine's Executive of the Year Awards.

Bosilkovski, who moved into the MD role in August this year, took out the award for Media Executive of the Year. Bosilkovski is the brains behind a number of developments at Leo Burnett including its strategic partnership with Diageo that saw the creative agency take on strategic duties, including media planning, for the company. He also created the agency's joint venture internship program with Diageo, The Nest.

“Whilst this is a personal award, the entire team at Leo Burnett has played a role in this achievement – through the relentless agency-wide dedication to achieving excellence, driving innovation and encouraging risk taking, all while having fun doing it," Bosilkovski said.

ARN also won big at the awards. CEO Ciaran Davis won CEO of the Year following the station's impressive ratings run this year, with WSFM and Kiis consistently named the top and second FM stations in Sydney for most of the year.

Davis said the win was a vindication “of the hard work and commitment of all the staff at ARN”.

ARN national marketing director Anthony Xydis took out the Marketing Executive of the Year for his role in rebranding Mix106.5 to Kiis to combat declining audience market share. It follows news that ARN will be rolling out the branding across its Melbourne, Brisbane and Adelaide stations from the start of next year.
