Former Today Show host Karl Stefanovic begins his new contributor role on Macquarie Media’s The Steve Price Show today.

Price’s show, which replaces Chris Smith in the 12-3pm slot, airs across 2GB in Sydney, 4BC in Brisbane and network stations across Australia.

Stefanovic joins as part of a list of regulator contributors including Erin Molan, Deb Knight, Phil Gould, Rita Panahi and Mieke Buchan.

The former Today Show host will join Price every Monday, with the radio network saying it hopes the new line-up will bring in a new audience.

“We’ve seen how broad Steve Price’s appeal is - and now with The Steve Price Show to air from 12-3pm, a new audience can enjoy his down-to-earth style, from tradies on a worksite to parents doing the school pickup,” Adam Lang, Macquarie Media CEO, says.

“We also know how tough it is so many businesses out there - and Steve has a track record of delivering terrific results for our clients.”

It’s the first time Stefanovic has returned to commercial media since he was cut from The Today Show in December 2018 amid declining viewer numbers.
