Jenny Williams joins fintech Fupay as CMO

Jenny Williams, a past ad agency executive and former CMO of HCF and Comparethemarket.com.au, has joined fintech Fupay.

She started this month as chief marketing officer for the "lifestyle management platform allowing young millennials to better understand and manage their cashflow needs".  

"It's a start-up ... so exciting opportunities to grow something and set things up from the ground up," she told AdNews.

"There is a generational shift in how younger people manage and spend money but because this product leverages an open banking money management app as well as the loan facility and a payment card, it's more flexible than most similar products in market and is able to offer cashflow solutions in a more responsible way which appeals to me ethically.

"So its cool new tech used responsibly which I find innovative. It's also well funded and recently did a deal with Chemist Warehouse.

"So innovation, a heavy focus on digital and building a brand which I like. Great team with lots of energy and the fast pace attracted me."
