In one sentence, how would you describe what the company does?

Creates entertainment that connects brands with a relevant audience

In one sentence, what does your role involve?

Overseeing all the creative aspects of our business – everything that emanates from our speakers.

Within the last six months/year, what stands out as the company’s major milestones?

Revenue turnaround in recent months, launch of a long term new breakfast show in Sydney, rebranding the entire network, rejigging our news and digital departments and there is more to come.

Best thing about the industry you work in:

The dimensions we are adding to it rather than sound from a box.

Previous industry related (ad land/ad tech) companies you have worked at:

The old Austereo, Hoyts, Village Roadshow, Alberts and a few overseas entities.

Career-wise, where do you see yourself in three years time?

Possibly still updating my LinkedIn profile. I'm really excited about the online space for audio.

Tell us one thing people at work don’t know about you?

I'm an open book – everyone knows that.

Pick up the phone and talk to people - don’t just email. Its too easy.

My favourite restaurant for a business lunch is:

Trying to find one now that BBQ King has closed.

My favourite advert is:

"Tahiti looks nice…" " Simon , Tahiti…"

My must-have gadget is:

Cliched but my smart phone.

My favourite media is:

Online.

My favourite TV show is:

I like live sport. NFL and college football in particular.

The last book I read:

What's your Message - Cam Barber. He wanted my feedback!

My mantra / philosophy is:

Changes at various stages – right now it's maintain curiosity.

I got into advertising/ad tech/marketing etc because:

I was intrigued by the medium of radio from an early age.

If I wasn't doing this for a living, I'd be:

Studying international relations/global terrorism at Georgetown University.

In five years' time I'll be:

Looking for different perspectives on life.
