Howatson+Company has proved, for brewer Matilda Bay, that failure can be delicious too.

And success for the young creative agency is just as sweet. It's  Rejected Ales campaigns won three Silver Lions, one Bronze Lion and four places in the shortlists.

Chris Howatson, founder and CEO: "It’s our first year, and so as you’d imagine we’re just beaming with the result at Cannes.

"Importantly this isn’t just creative work, it’s effective work. A key objective of the campaign was to support ranging efforts, as much as attracting drinkers to drink it.

"Have you shopped Dan’s lately? The shelfs are full of craft beer, and so to get this ranged and in the fridge is something we’re very proud to have supported the Matilda Bay team with. If you haven’t drunk one, get some. It’s delicious."
