Having trouble connecting with super-diverse Australia?

By AdNews | 4 October 2017

Multicultural marketing experts Lou Petrolo (Etcom), Thang Ngo (Identity), Masheila Pillay (Denstu Mitchell) and Lorraine Jokovic (Loud) are set to appear at AdNews Live! Reframing Australia on a panel that will seek to solve some of the emerging problems faced by brands when connecting with our super-diverse population.

3 brands. 3 problems. 3 solutions’ will be an open forum, at the half-day event on November 15th, where our speakers will be served with three case studies from three brands striving to connect with the changing demographics of Australia, and asked to impart their wisdom.

Delegates, and readers of AdNews, are urged to get involved in advance: email Content Curator Nicola Riches with problems you would like to see solved in an open, transparent and public forum. We welcome all entries.

Petrolo, Ngo, Pillay and Jokovic are renowned figures in Australia’s multicultural marketing space with a combined experience of several years (it would be rude of us to reveal exactly how many).

They will come armed to AdNews Live! Reframing Australia with examples from their work with some of Australia’s leading brands in a bid to share knowledge and information with our delegates.

AdNews Live! Reframing Australia will bring together some of the country’s experts across media, adland, TV, and major brands to discuss changing demographics, and why your audience might not be who you think it is.

Names already secured for the half-day event, on November 15th at Monkey Baa in Darling Quarter, include Meat Livestock Australia’s marketing honcho Andrew Howie, The Monkeys’ Scott Nowell, Channel 9’s Head of Content Production & Development Adrian Swift and SBS strategy manager John Turnbull.

The event’s keynote will be delivered by Mehreen Faruqi, MP, Australia’s first female Muslim MP.

Early Bird tickets, priced at $275.00, will close THIS FRIDAY (OCTOBER 6TH)
