ABC's advertising show Gruen has continued to top the non-news programs while Seven's Highway Patrol has overtaken Ten's The Bachelorette in the overnight OzTam ratings.

Gruen, hosted by Wil Anderson and featuring Leo Burnett Australia non-executive chairman Todd Sampson and Network Ten executive GM Russel Howcroft, covered a raft of topics including anti-advertising with Optus' Ricky Gervais ad and CommBank advertising.

Last night's episode also included Havas Worldwide competing in The Pitch segment.

The Bachelorette dropped viewers from last week - 879,000 viewers down from 918,000 last Wednesday. The show was the seventh most show of the night, overtaken by Seven's Highway Patrol on 883,000 viewers.

The dating show did, however, top all of the major demographic break outs, picking up the top spot in the 16-39, 18-49 and the 25-54 age brackets.

Nine won the night by a hair, with 27.0% audience share followed closely by Seven on 26.9% share. Ten picked up 21.2% audience share, ABC picked up 18.7% and SBS landed on 6.3% audience share.
