Born Bred Talent, which recently launched Born Bred Creative as its creative agency branch, will accept all major crypto currencies as a form of payment from October 31.

Born Bred Creative and Born Bred Talent founder and director Clare Winterbourn told AdNews interest in the alternate payment method has been promising.

“We have only made this information available to a number of our clients pre-launch, with around 25% of those taking the opportunity with excitement,” says Winterbourn.

“As a result of launching publicly this week, we are projecting to have the number of crypto-based clients increase quite rapidly and expect this to continue to grow steadily over time.”

NZ band SIX60 paid Born Bred’s service fee in ethereum and is the agency's foundation client under the new offering. SIX60 engaged Born Bred Creative’s expert team to build a viral moment on social media with a primary focus on TikTok.

The band’s guitarist Ji Fraser says the crypto option shows Born Bred’s innovative spirit.

“As artists and a band, we always embraced the technology that keeps us as accessible to as many fans as possible. From selling our first album on Facebook to doing TikTok’s first global live-stream concert, we seek innovation,” says Fraser.

“Born Bred’s embracing of crypto, along with their innovative creative strategies, shows the same spirit.”

With the first crypto-campaign underway, Winterbourn says the “integration of crypto currency” is another step in the evolution of the business she started four years ago.

“Our top priority as an agency has always been to showcase and leverage the power of social media by harnessing the perfect combination of creative thinking, strategy and execution” says Winterbourn.

“This new offering increases our visibility, easing access and transaction for those using crypto, and allows our clients and talent to utilise and expand their crypto portfolio while we execute best-in-class campaigns.”

Winterbourn says the traditional payment method is varied and is tailored to each client.

“We often will work on larger campaigns with a strategy for each set of objectives and goals whilst catering a completely new strategy to each new campaign or moment we are pursuing, rather than roll over a basic retainer plan, as every objective needs to be approached from a completely different angle creatively.”

Born Bred Talent works with some of the highest calibre talent globally including The Inspired Unemployed (three million followers) and TikTok superstar Sarah Magusara (17 million followers). Born Bred Creative’s foundation clients include Napoleon Perdis and boohoo.
