Ian Ball.

Ian Ball, the CEO of Enero, the owner of BMF, Orchard and Hotwire, earned $1,512,352 in the year to June, twice what he made the previous 12 months.

The remuneration report, in Enero’s latest annual report, listed Ball’s shares and performance rights at $216,101.

This was on top of a salary of $788,994.

The previous year, his total remuneration was $768,532.

Ball, who had before arriving at Enero described himself as a private equity advisor, became CEO in July last year following his appointment as chief operating officer earlier in 2025.

Ball’s elevation to the top role came after a series of operational and strategic moves, including the refinancing of the business, the restructuring and sale of OBMedia and senior hires across the group’s agency portfolio.

The final pay of former CEO Brent Scrimshaw was $432,681, dragged down by negative value performance rights, according to the annual report.  His termination benefit was listed at $95,973.

Scrimshaw received $1,725,327 in 2024, down from $2,002,994 the year before.

Ball has repositioned the group to focus on core agencies Hotwire, Orchard and BMF.

Enero reported a fall in revenue for the year to June but posted a 54% lift in net profit after tax to 6.4 million on the back of cost cutting.

Revenue dropped 7% to $129.5 million, driven by challenging international technology market conditions and the transformation at Hotwire.

Ball said the group enters the year with a leaner and more automated operating model.
