Disney $26 million media account up for pitch

Following its first major TV ad in Australia, Disney has put its media account up for pitch.

Carat, which currently holds the account, is understood to be repitching for the business. The account is thought to be worth somewhere in the region of $26 million.

The move also follows some shifts in Disney's marketing structure. Former CMO Kylie Watson-Wheeler is taking on a role the general manager of licensing and retail.

It also comes shortly after Disney launched its first brand campaign in more than a decade.

It is not known whether a shortlist has been firmed up at this stage.
