Dentsu Aegis Network (DAN) has acquired New Zealand-based technology and business consultancy, Davanti Consulting Ltd (Davanti), into Isobar Group.

The acquisition introduces technology consulting and Salesforce capability to DAN New Zealand.

It also accelerates the development of Salesforce capability within Isobar Group Australia.

“Davanti’s strong reputation promises to accelerate the growth of Isobar ANZ, and enhance the group’s Salesforce capability – positioning us to capture one of the fastest growing segments in market," DAN Australia and New Zealand CEO Henry Tajer says.

Davanti will be rebranded as Davanti, Linked by Isobar across Australia and New Zealand, led by current CEO Justin Hamilton.

Hamilton says the acquisition will help Davanti scale globally and become a "serious competitor" in the Australian market.

"Strategically we have strived to put Davanti at the intersection of the strategy, technology and creative domains," Hamilton says.

"We are the only firm in New Zealand who are delivering on this for our clients with our incredible team. Isobar now provides us the creative depth and assets of a global player to truly lead the market.”

The digital transformation consultancy, established in 2007, has a headcount of 125 across Auckland, Wellington and a recently launched Australian office.

“Davanti’s digital transformation capabilities will further power Isobar’s global experience-led transformation offering," Isobar CEO Jean Lin says.

"Their Salesforce technology expertise is a perfect match with Isobar, having recently been named top Salesforce implementation partners by Forrester, and their strategic teams will join Isobar’s 275 plus strong consultancy practice across the world. We are excited to welcome them into our network.”

The acquisition follows the recent rebranding of Little Giant as Isobar New Zealand, as DAN focuses on growing its presence in the region.

Isobar has a team of 6,500 people in 85 locations across 45 markets, including the Americas, EMEA and APAC.
