Dentsu has announced a global business management structure, designed to accelerate growth.

The One dentsu Operating Model from January 1 will globally "consolidate customer touch points, promote faster delivery of diverse and advanced practices and further elevate operational efficiency".

“Under the new management structure, dentsu will support the further growth of clients as an evolved ‘One dentsu’,” says CEO Hiroshi Igarashi.

The further detail follows dentsu’s announcement in 2022 on a new global management structure following the Japan-based global advertising group's plan to integrate international and the local Japan business.

This follows the departure of Wendy Clark from the international division in a move then called "One Management Team".

The latest announcement includes fine detail on appointments and roles.

Dentsu’s Group Management Team has 28 global leaders across 850 companies operating in 145 countries and regions

"The enhanced global management structure unveiled today to support our new One dentsu Operating Model will accelerate dentsu’s growth as a people-centered transformation company which shapes society," says Hiroshi Igarashi.

“It will enable us to drive deeper levels of organisational governance, as well as generate value for clients and the world we live in by maximising the unrivalled expertise of our 72,000 people worldwide to solve both our clients' business challenges and the societal issues beyond them as a Business to Business to Society (B2B2S) company.”
