Couples in crisis - Seven Year Switch finale pulls a crowd

Channel Seven's eye-opening look at couples in crisis, Seven Year Switch, pulled a big audience on its finale episode, but it was still pipped to the post by Ten’s MasterChef last night.

Seven Year Switch drew 903,000 viewers and was the sixth most watched episode of the night, according to the overnight metro OzTam figures. Looking at entertainment programs specifically, Seven Year Switch came in second position.

Ten’s MasterChef was the fourth most watched show of the night, pulling in 1.03 million viewers and was the top watched entertainment program.

MasterChef also topped the 18-49 and 25-54 age demographics, while Seven Year Switch won the 16-39 age bracket.

Nine's launch episode of Britain’s Got Talent pulled in as the 12th most watched show of the night with 708,000 viewers.

Seven won the night with 28.8% audience share followed by Nine on 24.6% audience share.

Ten picked up 22.9% of the audience followed by ABC on 16.9% and SBS on 6.7%.
