Ben McCallum is the new CEO of Cummins & Partners

Independent creative agency Cummins & Partners has promoted Ben McCallum to CEO.

McCallum was appointed general manager, media, at Cummins & Partners after earlier his year being made redundant at UM where was managing director.

He has a background building teams, driving business growth and delivering award-winning campaigns for major brands.

"Cummins & Partners has always been known for its independence, creativity and ability to deliver outstanding results for clients," said McCallum.

"I'm excited to lead the team at such a pivotal time, as we partner with some of the world's biggest brands and continue expanding our offering across Australia."

The agency reports recent new business wins across consumer, retail and automotive sectors as it works with what it describes as a roster of blue-chip clients spanning global and local brands.

Sean Cummins, founder and chair of the agency, said McCallum's appointment reflects the company's growth ambitions.

"We are entering a new chapter of growth and Ben's leadership, client focus and deep industry experience will be instrumental in taking the agency to the next level," Cummins said.

Founded on principles of creativity, independence and client partnership, Cummins & Partners has offices in Melbourne, Sydney and New York.
