CANBERRA: The federal government-owned Museum of Australian Democracy is set to release an
open tender, with the aim of establishing a digital panel.
The museum will put the tender on AusTender in coming weeks, and will ask agencies to
submit pitches on a credential basis.
"The agencies that fit the criteria, which might include factors such as experience, the
right staff and examples of relevant digital work, will be put on the panel," The Museum
of Australian Democracy marketing and communications manager, Nicolle Keyes, said.
"There is no limit to the size of the panel. The idea is that, once we have a panel of
digital agencies, we can go to the them on a project-by-project basis and get quotes from
each agency."
Keyes maintained that these agencies would not be placed on the general government roster,
called the "Communications Multi-Use List".
The news comes after the announcement yesterday that DraftFCB have been appointed to a
one-off digital project for the museum.
"We are just testing the waters," Keyes said.
A spokesperson from DraftFCB has confirmed that the agency will be pitching to be placed
on the panel.
