CANBERRA: The Museum of Australian Democracy has appointed DraftFCB to a strategic and social media project following a four-way tussle.
DraftFCB won through following a competitive pitch involving Naked Communications. The shortlist was whittled down to two agencies from an initial long list of four agencies. DraftFCB will create a social media campaign that is set to launch out after the federal election.
DraftFCB strategy planning director, Jason Clapperton, said: "The museum is government-owned, and so we have to wait until after the federal election before we start rolling anything out, so that there are no mixed messages."
"In the meantime, we are working on strategy. The final product we produce will be a nationwide social media campaign, which will run for about half a year and will focus on driving conversation both online and offline.
"The budget is a couple of hundred thousand dollars, which will have to go a long way, as this will be a national push."
