Media agency Atomic 212 has promoted Claire Fenner to CEO and Rory Heffernan to national managing director.

The CEO position has been empty since 2018 when Jason Dooris left the agency following queries over the validity of some of the Atomic's award entries.

Fenner, returning from maternity leave, has been promoted from group managing director.

“I’m incredibly proud of what our team has been able to achieve over the last few years. 2022 was our most successful year yet, where we saw all of the work we have done to refine our Effective Media product, establishing a strong leadership team and a lot of hard work and commitment from our people really pay off," she said.

Heffernan, appointed as acting managing director last year, is now permanently in the national MD role.
