Welcome to the latest edition of the AdNews Podcast. We know the best part of our job is the conversations we get to have with the smartest people in the industry every day - so this is our way of sharing that with our audience.

This special edition was recorded live at our AdNews Live! Reframing Australia event in November. We’re turning the sessions into a podcast series that you can tune into this week. Keep an ear out for the next one later this week.

In this session, moderated by Thang Ngo MD of Identity Comms, we asked experts to offer practical multicultural marketing solutions to specific brand problems.

The three brand problems posed were: how a government department could more effectively reach ethnic communities to promote health information about a children’s vaccine; How a vitamins company that had been tapping into China’s Daigou network of shoppers, could expand and how Australia’s major supermarket chains could better reach ethnic communities to drive sales.

Georgina Lionatos, client services director at MultiConnexions; Lou Petrolo, managing partner of Etcom; Lorraine Jokovic, CEO of Loud Communications and Masheila Pillay multicultural director from Dentsu Mitchell all offered solutions.
