Todd Baker and René Migliore have been appointed as joint managing directors of 303 MullenLowe Perth, as Derry Simpson moves into the role of strategic chair of the agency.

In her new role, Simpson will continue to work closely with the management team providing strategic guidance on key client relationships.

She will also join agency client Telethon Kids Institute as the head of brand and strategy.

“Those who know me, know how close to my heart child health is, and the opportunity to work in brand strategy for one of the world’s most prestigious child health research institutes – while maintaining an ongoing connection to 303 - is simply too compelling to ignore," Simpson says.

303 MullenLowe Australia CEO Nick Cleaver says both Baker and Migliore were "proven performers" for the agency.

“We are delighted to elevate Todd and René into this leadership role," Cleaver says.

“René will also continue to lead Mediahub Perth and build on the momentum we have generated in that business."

Migliore has been the general manager at Mediahub since late 2017. Prior to joining the agency, he has worked for a number of agencies including Initiative, SHEDcsc, 303LOWE, The Brand Agency and DDB Melbourne.

“Todd and I are excited about this new chapter in the agency’s leadership. We look forward to building on the momentum we have created in both the agency and at Mediahub," Migliore says.

"The way we work is a great reflection of the agency’s collaborative culture and true to the original ethos of 303 which has always been about harnessing the collective and complementary skill sets of the team.”

Baker joined 303 MullenLowe in 2012 and has worked in the Perth industry for 13 years.

For the past four years he’s served as 303’s client services director and is part of the agency’s leadership team. More recently, he took the added responsibility for driving financial and operational aspects of the business as general manager.

“I’m proud to be given the opportunity to lead 303 MullenLowe and build upon the success of the MDs before us," Baker says.

"303 is currently delivering brilliant work and we have a mix of outstanding professionals that really complement and support each other. Now René and I get to harness that talent to continue delivering the kind of work that we, and of course our clients are proud of.”

John Linton continues in the role of head of planning, leading a team which recently welcomed senior strategic planner, Smiljka Dimitrijevic. who previously worked at Marketforce and prior to this in a leading London strategic consultancy.

Also joining the agency as head of digital strategy is Michael Corry who will lead the agency’s digital, data, analytics, search and online media capabilities. He joined the agency from Carat Perth.
