Woolworths is bringing the goods this AFL season.
To celebrate its third year of supporting AFL, Woolworths is showing how it can feed family and friends this AFL season.
The spot was aired during the first round of the 2017 season and will also be seen this weekend across the women’s grand final.
‘Feeding your Hunger for Footy’ aims to put fans at the centre of the campaign, connecting them through celebrating the rituals of Friday night footy.
Commentary throughout the campaign is courtesy of veteran AFL broadcaster Denis Cometti.
Cometti says: "Got a hunger for footy. I'm talking spectular hangers with tasty bangers. A feast of goals with mums' sausage rolls."
Women's AFL players Katie Brennan, Darcy Vescio and Nicola Stevens star in the campaign, as well as Jake Sidebottom, Tom Hawkins and Josh Kennedy across the sponsorship campaign.
Woolworths director of marketing Andrew Hicks says: "We know that watching the footy on a Friday night with friends and family at home is a favourite pastime for many of our customers. Through this campaign we aim to share their passion for the game, and celebrate how Australians come together over food to cheer their favourite team on.”
