Have a shitty hair-band in high school? Well this isn't for you. But for the true musicians, still dreaming of hitting the big time, Budweiser's new platform might just be the answer.

Developed by The White Agency, Budweiser Australia has launched an online music platform which gives tools and guidance for electronic music producers on how to make their musical dreams a reality.

The platform, Budweiser Made for Music has been created in partnership with Universal Music Australia and gives artists the ability to share their music, gain exposure, engage with the industry and receive advice from experts. It also contains video tutorials, workshops, competitions and a round up of local gigs.

So far, Australian electronic music acts The Aston Shuffle and Uberjak'd have signed on to be music mentors. Unsigned artists will be able to upload tracks from October.

Speaking of the campaign, The White Agency senior strategist Bohdi Lewis said: “Budweiser is a major voice and has deep ties within the American music industry, but the challenge for us has been translating this to create something meaningful for local adult artists here in Australia. The beauty of this platform is the way the experience comes together across a range of touch-points to deliver unique benefits for users, while at the same time giving Budweiser a direct line to speak to its consumers.”

In addition, Budweiser is launching a competition to celebrate the launch of the platform which aims to uncover Australia's best undiscovered electronic artist. Four winning artists will travel to Sydney to support The Aston Shuffle in December, and will attend a two-day studio workshop session led by The Aston Shuffle and Uberjak’d in 2015. The overall winner will perform in front of Universal Music Australia’s A&R team and receive $5000 worth of studio equipment.

Budweiser Australia is working with below-the-line agency Momentum to manage the site's compeititons, aggregating content and managing social media.
