There's something about beer ads that lend themselves to 'big' ads. And it doesn't get much bigger than the rivalry between the UK and France.

To further cement the competition French brewer Kronenbourg threw down the gauntlet saying that Manchester United player Eric Cantona would swim the English Channel if 10,000 beer fans agree that Kronenbourg is the best lager in the world.

The spots below are a result of Cantona coming good on his promise – sort of.
