What does a Shih Tzu, a meteor shower and a news broadcaster have in common? The new Honda Civic, of course.

The latest campaign for the Bold Honda Civic, by Leo Burnett Melbourne, continues to dial up the automotive brand’s dreaming focus.

Bringing to life Honda’s ‘Power of Dreams’, the campaign is designed to show anything is possible when you’re bold enough to chase your dreams.

Backed by the iconic song ‘Dreamer’, the 60-second spot tells the story of a determined reporter who has ambitions beyond the small-time dog show story she is covering. When opportunity strikes in the form of a meteor hurtling towards the earth, she chases after it in the Bold New Honda Civic to realise her dream.

Honda’s Australian GM of customer and communications Scott McGregor says the ad creates a strong parallel between the new Honda Civic and the dreams that its customer chases every day.

The campaign is executed across cinema, outdoor, online, radio, social and dealer communications.
