A new campaign aims to counter the set-and-forget mentality of health policy holders.

The campaign, by Leo Burnett Melbourne aims to highlight iSelect's expertise in health insurance and builds on from its 'Always Get it Right' platform launched in April this year.

The first spot in the series shows what happens when an elderly couple find out they're still paying for pregnancy cover while a second spot, which aired last night, shows an overprotective mum making sure her 9 year old son is protected when he takes up rugby. An additional TVC will air in the coming months.

iSelect head of brand and campaign management Kirsten Craven says: "Every policy needs a check-up from time to time, just like a person does, to make sure it’s still in good health. Many people aren’t covered for things they need or they’re unknowingly paying for things they don’t use. The iSelect Health Cover Check-up is a really simple way to assess whether your cover is still right for your lifestyle.”

Leo Burnett Melbourne CD Michelle Walsh says: "Sorting out your private health insurance is about as enjoyable as watching grass grow and ads about the subject matter generally aren’t much better. So our goal with these spots was to make health insurance entertaining while still delivering an important message about the need to check your cover whenever your circumstances change.”

The television spots are being supported by outdoor, radio, digital and social media activity.
