Corelle Dinnerware serves up a tipsy hostess

Dinner parties are all fun and games until the dinnerware goes flying. Good thing Corelle plates are break resistant then.

Dinnerware company Corelle has taken a different approach with its latest camapign, with a tipsy dinner party hostess describing the epic carnage which is sure to ensue at her latest dinner party.

There are three spots all up, titled "Newlyweds", "Cougars", and "The Aftermath", along with a Facebook page and Twitter account for Tiffany aka the #tipsyhostess.

Humourously delivered, all three spots detail (between chugs of red wine) the unique dangers of the suburban dinner party, imagining scenarios where broken plates could be a fait acompli.

In between inviting 24-year old Jamie around for "dessert" at the cougar's dinner and wondering about personality conflicts which could see sparks, one has to wonder about the safety of the dinnerware at the party.

It's a good thing then, that Corelle dinner plates are break-resistant..
