Australian Radio Network (ARN) has launched a new marketing campaign for the KIIS Network across all markets.

The campaign, which launched on Monday January 18, include targeted outdoor, TV, digital and social channels for breakfast and drive shows on stations across the Kiis National Network – Kiis 106.5 Sydney, Kiis 101.1 Melbourne, 97.3FM Brisbane, Mix102.3 Adelaide and 96FM Perth, with each execution varying for the location.

The TV campaign features Kiis stars Jackie O and Kyle Sandilands talking candidly to Oprah, Justin Bieber and Hugh Jackman.

The Sydney campaign is high impact, with ARN’s marketing director Anthony Xydis saying that the brand wanted to ensure audiences knew their favourite teams - Kyle & Jackie O in the morning and Hughesy & Kate for the drive home - were back on air.

"In a very competitive market, we’ve chosen a high impact campaign with Adshel utilising digital outdoor as well as station domination in the key transport hubs of Central and Parramatta," Xydis says.

Adshel’s head of marketing Charlotte Valente says it utilised Adshel Rail’s extensive creative canvas, station domination, to cause an impact on the Sydney audience.

"Executed across two of Sydney’s key commuter train stations, Central and Parramatta, capturing KIIS’ core demographic of 25-39 year olds who travel the network more than five times a week," Valente adds.

In the competitive Melbourne market, the outdoor domination is raising awareness of the entire Kiis 101.1, with Brisbane and Adelaide following with a similar approach. In Perth, the media investment in 96 FM continues across TV, outdoor and digital, off the back of a campaign launch in late 2015.

“These campaigns signify ARN’s ongoing commitment to invest nationally across our portfolio of brands and across multiple channels," says Xydis.

“The entire campaign across all cities will be complemented by an extensive digital marketing and social campaign and will feature an expanding outdoor presence and TV campaign in the coming weeks.”

In the last radio ratings of last year ARN hosts Sandiland and Jackie O were named the top FM breakfast billing in Sydney, picking up 0.6% points to hit 8.9% audience share.
