Adventure on the high seas for him, her and the kids. It's Moby Dick meets Mills & Boon for Carnival Cruise Lines' first set of campaigns since switching to Host last August. The solution, Write your Own High Seas Adventure, nailed the brief perfectly, says the firm's marketing director.

Selling the dream to families via three 30 second spots, the campaign, directed by Luke Shanahan of Robber’s Dog, voiced by Matt Berry (The IT Crowd) and scored by Jonathan Dreyfus and members of the Melbourne Philharmonic, uses a backdrop of scenery that would make Robert Louis Stevenson proud, Host reckons.

Carnival Cruise Lines marketing director Jane Andrew said the firm was looking for the best way to showcase that each guest can design their own holiday. "Host created a campaign that showed the diverse range of holiday experience Carnival Cruise Lines offers - from zen to adrenalin. Write Your Own High Seas Adventure nailed the brief and fits the fun spirit of our brand perfectly."

The campaign will span across TV and online.
