MELBOURNE: Ad Agency Smart Creative has bought 50% of web developer M4 Interactive, to form Smart Interactive. Smart has absorbed M4Õs staff and clients Tabcorp, Star City and Hills Industries, boosting billings by $2m, and is hiring five new staff. Smart Creative partner Ben Lilley said it used to outsource technical development to M4. ÒIt just made sense to stop outsourcing and bring it in-house,Ó he said. Lilley said the agency was one of few able to claim total interactive integration, because Òthe same creative minds were across everythingÓ.
