SYDNEY: Network Ten has moved Teen Fit Camp out of its prime-time Thursday slot to Sundays, after just three episodes.
The program debuted on 31 May at 7:30pm with 738,000 viewers, but the second episode on 7 June had 692,000 viewers tuning in.
The final straw was last night’s (Thursday) episode, which recorded just 685,000 viewers.
“We think the show is terrific – but it hadn’t performed as strongly as we thought it would in that timeslot,” said a Network Ten spokesperson.
The six-part reality TV show documenting overweight teenagers’ plights to lose weight will air on Sundays at noon from 24 June.
Mark Burnett’s latest reality TV program, Pirate Master, will take over the Thursday 7:30pm timeslot.
