Australian Consolidated Press has installed seven executives in different roles, including yet another Fairfax executive poached to work on The Bulletin and other titles.ACP appointed Fairfax veteran, Jill Baker, as publisher of Specialist Titles, which includes The Bulletin, HQ and ACPÕs food and wine and computer titles. Baker was editor of The Sunday Age newspaper, and deputy editor of The Age, and most recently was publisher of Fairfax Books.ACP changed its line-up of senior executives to take advantage of new opportunities in publishing, multimedia and masthead brand extensions, says CEO John Alexander.Tim Trumper moved from ACP group publisher Major Market Titles to ACP group publisher New Markets. Trumper will help develop new products and magazines, and multimedia initiatives including ACPÕs online strategy and the broad development and extension of existing brands.ÒConsumer needs are changing rapidly,Ó says Trumper. ÒWe are aiming to capitalise on the changes in the way people are living and relating to the media.ÓNick Chan has switched from ACP group publisher Lifestyle Titles to ACP group publisher Major Titles, which includes Australian WomenÕs Weekly and WomanÕs Day. The ACP youth division has been added to Major Titles, including Dolly, Big Hit and the Official Playstation Magazine.Pat Ingram is publisher of ACP Lifestyle, which now includes the Hearst titles Cosmopolitan, HarperÕs Bazaar and She. Lifestyle now includes homemaker titles House & Garden, Belle and Our House, which were previously part of the ACP Specialist Group.Ben Ashton was jumped from ACP Corporate Counsel to business development director, where he will work with Tim Trumper. He will be replaced by lawyer Amanda Laing.
