Wunderman Thompson hires Re's Annabelle Barnum

Wunderman Thompson Australia has appointed Annabelle Barnum general manager of its Sydney office.

Barnum joins the creative agency from her position as group capability head, design and experience at Re Design where she led the Design & Experience capability for Woolworths, along with leading other key clients such as CommBank, CommSec and Domain.

Barnum has 15 years’ experience working in a variety of businesses including marketing, digital and innovation, content creation and start-ups. Most recently, Barnum was responsible for the growth of Re’s Woolworths partnership from pure branding to brand experience, growing the team from four to 27 under her leadership and launching Everyday Rewards, Everyday Brands, That’s Today’s Fresh Food People and WooliesX.

Barnum’s experience spans Australia and the USA where she has worked with a range of clients that include Optus, Telstra, Vodafone, CBA, ANZ, Westpac, Microsoft, Tourism Australia, Westfield, Qantas, Samsung, United Nations, and Nike to name a few. Before Re (part of M&C Saatchi), Barnum held roles with M&C Saatchi, WPP, Imagination, GHO and beyond the advertising field as an Artist.
