Matt Benning has been appointed head of digital & performance at Woolworths@Dentsu.
He spent close to 15 years at WPP, including as media lead on Vodafone at Wavemaker and later AKQA Media as Sydney head of digital.
He previously worked with MEC in the UK as global digital director on Vodafone and Visa Europe. He led the digital strategy for Visa across Europe, activating Olympics and Football World Cup sponsorships.

He starts November 29, will be based in Sydney and his new role will include working with some of Australia’s leading brands in retail to maximise digital capability, data, and technology.
