WPP launches global digital agency

WPP is to launch a global interactive marketing agency called Possible Worldwide, with 18 offices and 1000 employees across the world.

The agency is is a combination of four WPP-owned digital agencies - New York-based Schematic, Cincinnati-based Bridge Worldwide, Singapore-based Blue Interactive and New Delhi-based Quasar.

Possible Worldwide will compete with rival multi-national digital shops such as Publicis Groupe's Razorfish. At present, WPP does not operate a combined digital agency group on a global scale.

It will launch with several blue ribbon accounts including AT&T, P&G, Mazda, Starwood Hotels, Barclay's, BBC, Comcast, Dell, Dow Corning, General Mills, Luxottica, Mazda, Microsoft, Nokia, Orange, Samsung and SAP.

It is not known if WPP has plans to expand the group to Australia.
