Word of Mouth Digital has launched a fractional CMO service, embedding senior marketing leadership within client businesses, supported by the agency’s delivery team.

The model places experienced marketers inside organisations to set strategy, oversee execution and guide commercial decision-making.

It is aimed at companies seeking senior marketing leadership without appointing a full-time chief marketing officer.

Co-founder Tash Williams said the service was launched in response to client demand for greater structure and senior oversight as businesses mature.

“Our new Fractional CMO offering is designed for businesses that have outgrown ad-hoc marketing but aren’t ready to bring on a full executive team,” Williams said.

“The value of the fractional CMO model is how closely it integrates with internal teams. We’re not advising from the sidelines, we’re in the business, helping teams make better decisions and move faster with confidence.”

The launch marked the agency’s start to 2026 and followed several new client partnerships across retail, home, beauty, wellness and property.

Recent wins for the agency include Marquise, Geelong Homes, Bronte Body Care, The Discovery Space and Studio A.
